🐦 The Hunt Just Got Smarter
We’re excited to introduce /advancedsearch, a brand-new search feature designed to make hunting for those impossible-to-find Webkinz a whole lot easier! When you're looking for something rare, normal exact-keyword lookups often fail. Ms Birdy changes the game.
How to use it in Discord:
Simply type the command and tell Ms Birdy what you're hunting for—whether that's a specific Webkinz, a plush, a rare variant, or something you've been desperately trying to track down. She'll take it from there! 👀
What happens while she searches? You can watch her research happen in real time! 🐦💻 As she works, the dashboard updates dynamically with live progress stages, sources, and findings.
✨ What Can /advancedsearch Do?
Multi-Source Search
Scours multiple online marketplaces and collector sources simultaneously.
Relevance Analysis
Separates useful listings from the mountains of irrelevant search spam.
Price Intelligence
Analyzes asking prices to give you a clearer picture of current market value.
Research Statistics
Tracks source coverage, total discoveries, and match breakdowns.
💻 Behind the Bird: The Technology
You might type /advancedsearch and see a pretty little Ms Birdy dashboard… but behind that button is a lot more going on than meets the eye.
When you start an Advanced Search, Ms Birdy doesn't simply run a basic Google search and throw some random links at you. She builds a complete research pipeline:
- 🧠 AI-Powered Query Understanding: Analyses what you're actually looking for instead of relying purely on strict keywords.
- 🧸 Webkinz Catalogue Intelligence: Cross-references searches against the core Webkinz database to identify exact pets and items.
- 📖 Collector Analysis: Provides insightful breakdowns to highlight the strongest matches and context.
🛠️ Underneath the Hood
The system is built as a modular research architecture with independent layers handling Search, AI reasoning, Marketplace research, Catalogue matching, Relevance scoring, Price analysis, Result aggregation, and UI rendering. This means new marketplaces and intelligence features can be plugged in seamlessly without rebuilding from scratch! 🧩
"Ms Birdy isn't just searching. She's hunting." 🐦💗
